Team R is a racing team for drivers aged 5–12. On track, every child works with named coaches, a technical director and a team principal — not an anonymous service.

01 / THE TEAM
Each team member has a defined responsibility. Together, we manage the sporting programme, the kart, track operations and communication with the family.
Team principal
Responsible for Team R operations, strategy and development. A lifelong car enthusiast who dreamed of racing as a child. Father of a young driver — and, when required, his mechanic.
Lead coach and technical director
More than 15 years in karting, most of them as a mechanic and coach for drivers aged 5–12. An active DD2 Rotax driver, marathon runner and father of an eight-year-old son.
Lead coach
An active karting and Formula 4 driver. WSK 2025 podium finisher, Russian KZ-2 vice-champion and Russian national Mini champion. He has actively coached drivers aged 5–12 for two years.
02 / HOW WE WORK
The coach sets the objective before every session, observes the driver on track and reviews video, telemetry and results afterwards.
The technical director and mechanic are responsible for kart preparation, setup and reliability throughout every test or race day.
The team principal coordinates the programme, terms and logistics. Parents receive specific feedback on their child’s progress.

04 / TEAM R FOCUS
Working with young drivers takes more than speed and technical knowledge. The team must explain each task clearly, support concentration and build trust — through practice, testing and race weekends.
