01 / DATES AND VENUE
One week in Abu Dhabi.
Five days on track.
The driver trains for five consecutive days, with one day before and after the programme for family arrival and departure.
Track programme
Five consecutive days of structured work at Al Forsan International.
Departure
Hotel check-out, individual transfer to AUH airport and departure.
Team R will provide the exact track-session times in the final participant schedule.

A working introduction,
not an exam.
Experience changes the goals on track, but it does not determine whether a child can join the programme.
Children starting out
The child gets to know the race kart, the coach and track procedures. The team then assesses readiness for further training or a first race weekend.
Current race drivers
Five days provide time to learn Al Forsan and work on technique, pace and setup before the 2026/2027 IAME Series UAE season.

04 / WHAT THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES
Five days of Arrive & Drive with complete Team R support
The family does not need to transport a kart or find specialists in the UAE. Team R prepares everything required for the driver’s track work.
Race equipment
- Prepared Bambino chassis or Kart Republic KR Special Edition for Mini
- Race-prepared engine for the relevant class
- Two sets of Komet K1D-M tyres for each driver

The driver focuses on track performance. Team R provides the kart, engine, preparation, data and complete trackside operation.
05 / VENUE AND LOGISTICS
Al Forsan International.
Everything close to the circuit.
Circuit
A professional layout of approximately 1.2 km at Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
Team garage
Direct circuit access, a mechanics' workspace and an air-conditioned rest area for children and parents.
Accommodation
The recommended Marriott Hotel Al Forsan is within the same complex. Accommodation is separate; Team R can assist with booking.
Transfers
Individual AUH–hotel–AUH transfers for every family are included regardless of the selected flight.

07 / WHY TEAM R
A racing team for drivers aged 5–12
Team R specialises in the younger age groups. Coaches with more than 15 years of experience and a dedicated mechanic work with the child, while the family receives clear feedback after every day.
As parents of young drivers ourselves, we understand the importance of safety, trust in the team and specific feedback on the child’s progress.

What to know before the trip
Is the programme suitable for a child with no racing experience?+
Yes. Experience defines the individual goals, not eligibility. A beginner starts with seating, safety and adaptation to the equipment.
How is the driver’s class determined?+
By age only: Bambino is for ages 5–8 and Mini for ages 8–12.
Does the family need to buy or transport a kart?+
No. Team R provides the kart, engine, tyres, fuel, preparation and technical support.
Can a driver attend fewer than five days?+
The offer and sporting programme are designed around five consecutive training days. Any individual format must be agreed with Team R in advance.
What is charged separately?+
Flights, accommodation, meals, personal racewear, insurance, additional tyres and kart damage caused by incidents.
What happens after testing?+
The team provides feedback on technique, pace and consistency and recommends the next step: further training or a suitable race weekend.
